Award Winning Eyebrow Microblading in Barnsley

Healed Microblade Brows + Lash Lift & Ti
Hairstroke Brows
Annual touch-up on some Hybrid Brows

Eyebrow Microblading is the manual method of tattooing the brows (sometimes referred to as permanent makeup). Due to the nature of the facial skin, sun exposure and types of coloured pigments used, Microblade Brows are usually recommended to be Retouched (topped up/refreshed) every 1 to 2 years and very occasionally revived via saline tattoo removal.

Louska is trained in all Microblading techniques (Hairstroke techniques and Shading and Ombre techniques) meaning that she is able to create the most natural looking brows suited to each individual client based on their needs.
Other practitioners may price differently for: Hairstroke Brows, Powder Brows, Ombre Brows or Hybrid Brows. However, Louska has only one option so that regardless of your desired look, existing hair growth and skin type you will get whichever technique(s) that are most suited to you to get the best result.

Why choose Louska?:
✅ Fully registered with the Local Authority to legally provide Eyebrow Microblading and Saline Removal services
✅ Thanks to her previous laboratory experience, she is well versed in infection control protocols & more
✅ Sterile disposable products/equipment are always used where needed to allow for safe work
✅ Eco-friendly biodegradable alternatives are used at every possible opportunity
✅ Clinic electricity supply from 100% renewable sources
✅ All products used are cruelty free and vegan friendly

Ultimately, you will be in safe hands at The Louska Beauty Clinic.

New clients must always book a Consultation/Patch Test prior to getting their new brows in order to double check for any contraindications and test for allergy.
The new Eyebrow Microblading service includes the 6 week top-up to perfect them, as well as a complimentary brow shaping appointment in the week prior to each Microblading session. At your initial Microblading appointment, your brows will be measured and mapped to create an outline before any microblading takes place so that you can confirm you're happy or request any tweaks.
(Retouch appointments for existing client maintenance are single appointments. If you require Brow Shaping prior, please book this separately a few days before.)

Eyebrow Microblading FAQs

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO HEAL AFTER MICROBLADING?
The superficial layers of skin may lightly flake and heal over during the first week following treatment. However, skin isn't considered fully healed on deeper levels until around 6 weeks time, which is why the complimentary Top-Up appointment is usually performed 6-8 weeks later.

HOW LONG DO MICROBLADING RESULTS LAST?

Microblading is a manual tattooing procedure, however, results are regarded as semi-permanent*, requiring a ReTouch every 1-2 years to keep Brows looking their best.
(*This is due to a number of factors, including: types of pigments used, the nature of facial skin, and fading from sun exposure, facial treatments and products.)

IS MICROBLADING PAINFUL?

Everyone has different levels of sensitivity. Numbing cream is applied to treatment areas and left to work for plenty of time prior to treatment. Some individuals says they can barely feel anything at all (even falling asleep during the treatment!), whereas some do feel discomfort and tell me they're very glad they only have it done once a year! Haha.
Thankfully, even for those that do experience, I am a skilled professional and fairly quick during the procedure section of the appointments.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE?
The longest appointment is the initial (New Set) Microblading session, which, thanks to me (Louska) being a bit of a whizz, is still only 1hr 40mins long (nearly half of this time is dedicated to the brow mapping and numbing stages of the appointment too). All further appointments usually take much less time, although for ReTouch appointments, more time is booked out depending how long it's been since your last visit, just in case.

IS MICROBLADING BETTER THAN TATTOOING/MACHINE METHODS?
Two methods, similar result! I am trained and experienced in all Microblading Techiniques (yes, even shading and ombre brows can be done via manual Microblade!), so there's nothing a great machine tech can do that I can't.
Some people wrongly believe that one method or the other goes "deeper" and therefore lasts longer. This is completely false, all SPMU is performed at the same depth, as working too light would disappear in a month or two and too deep would go grey/blue and blurry.

DOES MICROBLADING CAUSE SCARRING?
As long as your service is carried out by a trained and qualified professional, and you follow all of the aftercare advice, there is no significant risk of any scarring. Obviously, always check the photos and clients reviews of a practitioner before trusting them with your face!

WHO CANNOT HAVE MICROBLADING DONE?
• Anyone with skin conditions affecting the brow area or know scarring issues (i.e. keloids)
• Anyone with immune disorders, blood disorders, or Diabetes should consult their Doctors first
• Those on chemo or radiation therapy must wait 6 months after completely finishing treatment (in the case of life-long chemo medications, consult your Doctor first)
• Any persons pregnant or breastfeeding (the process and products are not harmful, but hormone levels and other factors are not conductive to a good long-lasting healed result)

If in doubt about anything in your medical history... don't book your main appointment until after you have already had your Consultation & Patch Test appointment (this is mandatory for all new clients). The consultation process should ensure any possible contraindications are flagged and dealt with so that only eligible clients receive treatment.
